Red Beech

I've been asked to paint some more abstract type trees so here's the first.
I've used a blue base for this painting, then used crackle medium over top, followed by red.
And just for a change a Beech Tree silouette in the foreground.

Your paintings are gorgeous. I didn't know which one to comment on nor could I pick a favorite. They are all striking. I love the monochromatic black and white scheme and the occasional use of red is fabulous. Great work.
