Commission painting - Andy Elliot

Recently I was asked if I could do a commission for a friends Grandparents. His family had just sold their farm and he wanted to get them something in the way of a memory. I was given a heap of photos from various scenes around the farm and was asked to come up with some ideas for a painting. This was the end result and was a union of four different photos.

South of Hokitika - Andy Elliot - Artist

I haven't added a painting for ages as I've been working on a commission. This is a small painting I did for an art swap. It's a black and white and based on a photo I took south of Hokitika earlier this year. It was a miserable, bleak and windy day but for this tree it was business as usual. It had seen it all before
